Is this invoice generator really 100% free?
Yes, absolutely. Our invoice generator is completely free to use with no limits on the number of invoices you can create or download. We do not use watermarks, require a subscription, or have hidden charges.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. We believe in removing friction. You can generate invoices instantly as a guest user. No email or account is required to download your PDF. Your business is your business.
Is my financial data safe? Do you store my invoices?
Your privacy is our top priority. We operate on a strict 'Zero-Retention' architecture. Your data is encrypted and processed in a stateless environment solely to render the PDF, then immediately permanently erased. We do not store, mine, or view your documents. Read our full Privacy Policy.

What is the difference between an Invoice, a Proforma, and a Receipt?

What are standard payment terms for a freelancer?
Common terms include 'Net 30' (due in 30 days) or 'Due Upon Receipt'. For larger projects, we recommend requesting a deposit (e.g., 50% upfront). You can set these terms easily in our generator's 'Settings' panel.
How should I handle a client who won't pay?

Can I use my own logo and brand colors?
Absolutely. Our generator allows you to upload your company logo (JPG/PNG) and select a custom HEX color to match your brand identity via the 'Settings' panel.
How do I create a VAT or GST compliant invoice?
Standard invoices may not be compliant for tax purposes. Use our specialized VAT Invoice Generator which includes mandatory fields for Tax IDs, tax rates, and exempt items.
Do you have a template for construction (Labor vs Materials)?
Yes. Contractors should use our Contractor Invoice Template. It allows you to separate 'Labor' (often non-taxable) from 'Materials' (taxable) and includes fields for job site addresses.

My logo isn't appearing on the PDF. What should I do?
Please ensure your logo file is a standard image format (JPG, PNG) and under 2MB in size. Extremely large files may time out. If the issue persists, try a different browser.
How do I save my invoice to edit it later?
Because we adhere to a Zero-Retention privacy policy, we do not store user data on our servers. This means drafts cannot be saved to an account. We recommend keeping your browser tab open until you download your final PDF.
