The Short Version: We Don't Want Your Data.

We believe financial data is a liability, not an asset. To protect you (and us), we designed a system that technically cannot store your secrets.

  • No Database: We do not have a database to store your invoices.
  • Stateless: Data exists in for the seconds it takes to generate the PDF.
  • Client-Side: Most calculations happen directly in your browser.

1. How Our "Zero-Retention" Architecture Works

Unlike traditional SaaS platforms that require you to create an account and save your customer data to their servers, MyInvoiceTemplate.com operates on a stateless model.

Here is the technical lifecycle of your data when you use our generator:

Input: You enter data into the forms. This happens locally in your web browser's memory.

Transmission: When you click "Download PDF," data is sent securely via HTTPS (TLS 1.3) to our rendering engine.

Processing: Our server holds data in temporary memory strictly to assemble the PDF layout. It is never written to a disk.

Destruction: The moment the PDF is sent back to you, the data in memory is overwritten and permanently destroyed.

2. Information We Do Collect

While we do not collect invoice contents, we collect minimal, anonymous data to keep the website running:

Anonymous Analytics

We use privacy-focused analytics to count page views and monitor site performance. This helps us understand which templates are popular. We do not track individual user behavior or store IP addresses linked to invoice data.

Communication Data

If you voluntarily contact us via email (e.g., for support), we will receive your email address and name. We use this solely to reply to your inquiry. We do not share this with third parties.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

We use Local Storage to temporarily save your invoice draft on your device. We maintain full transparency regarding the few cookies we use:

Note: Local Storage data lives on your device, not ours. You can clear it anytime by clearing your browser cache.

We use trusted infrastructure providers to host our website and ensure security. These providers may process metadata (like IP addresses) for security purposes (DDoS protection) but do not have access to the contents of the invoices you generate.

5. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Since we do not store personal data or invoice details, we technically cannot "delete" your account or "export" your data—because we don't have it. However, you always retain the right to:

  • Use our tool anonymously without consent.
  • Block cookies via your browser settings.
  • Request information about our data practices via email.
