Net 10 Calculator: Due Date and Meaning of Net 10 Payment Terms

What Net 10 means

due date = invoice date + 10 calendar days. The day after the invoice date is day 1, and day 10 is the due date: the last day to pay on time, unless the contract says otherwise.

This is date arithmetic only. Where a law sets its own payment period, it can count from a different event; the rules we have verified are quoted in the payment terms guide.

Net 10 due dates for 2026

An invoice dated the 15th of each month of 2026 and its Net 10 due date.

"Weekend" is only a flag: Net 10 counts calendar days, and whether a payment due on a Saturday or Sunday may be made on the next business day is for your contract to say.

Net 10 vs Net 10 EOM

Net 10 counts from the invoice date. Net 10 EOM counts 10 days from the end of the invoice month (method 1). A second reading counts 10 days from the invoice date and then runs to the end of that month (method 2). The same invoice dates give these due dates:

Net 10 wording to copy

Replace [due date] with the date from the calculator. Printing the date, not only the term, means nobody has to count days.

Net 10 sets the due date; what you can charge after it depends on your contract and the law that applies.
