Net 14 Calculator: Due Date for 14-Day Invoice Payment Terms

What Net 14 means

due date = invoice date + 14 calendar days. The day after the invoice date is day 1, and day 14 is the due date: the last day to pay on time, unless the contract says otherwise. 14 days is exactly 2 weeks, so the due date always falls on the same weekday as the invoice date.

This is date arithmetic only. Where a law sets its own payment period, it can count from a different event; the rules we have verified are quoted in the payment terms guide.

Net 14 due dates for 2026

An invoice dated the 15th of each month of 2026 and its Net 14 due date.

"Weekend" is only a flag: Net 14 counts calendar days, and whether a payment due on a Saturday or Sunday may be made on the next business day is for your contract to say.

Net 14 wording to copy

Replace [due date] with the date from the calculator. Printing the date, not only the term, means nobody has to count days.

Filled in for an invoice dated 10 January 2026: "Payment terms: Net 14. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, by 24 January 2026."

Net 14 sets the due date; what you can charge after it depends on your contract and the law that applies.
